Art Deco Clock With Antelope Motif, Marble And Onyx, Working, Made By The Glassmaker Le Faguays In 1920
Beautiful Art Deco clock with an onyx dial and an antelope on a black marble base. A very attractive piece to place on a mantelpiece or a stylish piece of furniture. The clock face is beautifully crafted with green onyx and a gilt mount. An antelope with a slightly iridescent patina turns to the side. The base is attractive, with the onyx restored on the front. In PERFECT CONDITION, quite exceptional, with no chips to the marble. The clock is in working order; the mechanism has been replaced with a modern one. 55 cm long, 30 cm high, very heavy. Circa 1930. A very graphic clock, typical of the Art Deco period.
