Silvered Bronze Seal With Marine Anchors, Foliage, Globe, And Monogram, 19th Century
A finely chased silvered bronze seal or stamp, decorated with marine anchors surrounding a spherical shape (perhaps symbolizing a globe), below which are stylized arabesques and foliage scrolls. The seal is chased with a monogram and dates from the late 19th century. This seal is in good overall condition but will need cleaning. Please note: the silver plating is worn in places and particularly dirty; there are a few small dents and signs of age, see photos.
