1940s Tank Ring, Oval, Yellow Gold And Pave-set Diamonds On Platinum

A 1940s Tank ring in 18k yellow gold (750/°°, eagle's head hallmark) and platinum (dog's head hallmark) with soft lines. Designed with curves, it features an oval shape in the form of a platinum disc, enhanced by a round disc entirely pavé-set with six old-cut diamonds in a grain setting, also arranged in a circle. These diamonds are of a good size, including a larger center stone, and possess a brilliant sparkle. The two parts visible from above, namely the oval disc and the pavé disc, are in platinum; they reveal only the white color, which particularly highlights the diamonds. For a contrasting effect, the band is in yellow gold, and the recess of the disc is also emphasized by a thin layer of yellow gold visible on the edge. A ring that is both understated and refined, vintage yet with a contemporary aesthetic, simple and crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
