Charming silk thread embroidery on silk, Restauration period, signed and dated “Uᵉ Masson, pupil of Mr Comunal in Agen, 1819.”
Period giltwood frame with beaded and moulded decoration (in need of restoration).

The scene shows a vase overflowing with flowers surrounded by a rooster, a hen, and their chicks, rendered with remarkable delicacy. The composition combines naturalistic observation with the decorative sensibility characteristic of its time.
