Louis XIII Style Bonnetière In Fruitwood And Various Other Woods, 1-door Wardrobe, Diamond Points
A beautiful Louis XIII style bonnetière or wardrobe with one door at the front. It rests on two ball feet at the front and two straight feet at the back. The door is beautifully crafted and made of three panels carved with diamond-point motifs. The sides are flat-banded. Our piece features several types of wood: fruitwood for the front, oak and various other woods for the rest of the piece. The interior is lined with a patterned fabric on a red background. The back panels are very thick. A very fine piece of late 18th - early 19th-century craftsmanship with some older elements. Note: The two rear feet have been shortened by about five centimeters, and the two ball feet, as well as the base molding above them, have been replaced. The lock is antique and works perfectly. Dimensions: Height 200 cm, Depth to cornice 62 cm, Depth to bottom molding 59 cm, Length to cornice 111 cm. 105 cm to the bottom molding. Shipping costs: please contact us.
