A lovely seascape depicting sardine fishing boats, probably in Concarneau. The work is signed by Eschbach for Paul André Eschbach (1881-1961), oil on panel, beautiful light with lovely muted tones. He was a student of Laurens at the Académie Julian, exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1903, and was a lover of Brittany.
