19th Century Elaine Pork Dinner Service With Coat Of Arms
A delightful white porcelain service with a gold rim, featuring a polychrome coat of arms with a marquis's coronet on the rim. Made in Paris by the Mansard firm on rue de Paradis, this service is likely a dessert set. It comprises 12 plates, 2 large, tall stemmed bowls, 2 low bowls, 2 creamers, and 2 sugar bowls. There are a few minor chips from use. A lovely, elegant, and consistent piece from the Napoleon III period.
