Superb 14-piece asparagus service in Salins earthenware, early 20th century. Made of Salins faience, it comprises a large serving platter with an attached tray, 12 plates, and a sauce boat with a double handle on a foot. Celadon green background, decorated with basketwork, asparagus, and foliage in relief, with two indentations for sauce on each plate. Numbered on the back. Dimensions: Platter: 38 cm x 25 cm. Plates: Diameter: 24.5 cm. Sauce boat: 22 cm x 15 cm. The set is in good overall condition, with some minor crazing and slight variations in shade, nothing serious. Note: A small black mark on the top of the platter. A very attractive set, in excellent condition and complete; it's rare to find a sauce boat! Beautiful colors and a lovely design.
