Round Modernist Table In Solid Oak, Cylindrical Pine Base, Dlg Perriand, Chapo, 1950s
Maison Lecan presents this round solid oak table from the 1950s, in the style of Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Chapo. It features a 5 cm thick circular top, four solid cylindrical pine legs, and no crossbars—just the wood and the form. The generous, richly knotted pine legs lend a raw and warm presence that contrasts beautifully with the oak top's finer, golden grain. The tabletop, assembled from slats, has developed a lovely patina over the decades. It has a varnished finish. With a diameter of 110 cm and a height of 76 cm, it comfortably seats 4 to 6 people.
