Elegant and large mirror with a glass backing, Italian work from the Louis XVI period of the late 18th century, beautifully and richly decorated. The upper section features a scallop shell framed by laurel and oak leaves. The base is supported by stylized palmettes, richly decorated on a lacquered background. This large mirror retains its original backing, glass, gilding, and patina. Accidents, losses, and wear are taken into account in the price.
