Vintage albumen print of the "Lycian Apollo" (or "Apollino"). This marble statue, attributed to the school of Praxiteles, is considered a Roman copy of a 4th-century BC Greek original. This statue was part of the Medici collection before being exhibited at the Uffizi Gallery. Giacomo Brogi was an Italian photographer born in Florence, Tuscany, in 1822 and died in 1881. He began his career in photography in 1856. He opened his first studio in Rome in 1864, then in Florence and Naples. - Mat 40x50cm - Image size 19.5 x 25.5 cm.
