Oval glazed porcelain box from Capo di Monte, decorated in polychrome with friezes of cherubs and playful putti, adorned with scrolling foliage.

Marked in blue with a crowned N on the underside.

Capodimonte porcelain is an artistic production that originated in 18th-century Naples, during the reign of Charles of Bourbon. It is distinguished by its soft clay, delicate colors, and highly detailed decorations.

The pieces often depict pastoral scenes, ruins, flowers, or elegant figures.

Very good condition. Note: the lid closes unevenly due to firing, but the hinge is in very good working order.
