Longwy Dragon Planter, 19th Century
A 19th-century glazed earthenware cachepot from Longwy, hallmarked.
Cylindrical in shape on a footed base, it is decorated on a turquoise blue background with confronted dragons and polychrome floral scrolls in ochre (dragons partially gilded) and yellow tones, with light outlines. Glossy glaze. Very good condition with signs of wear consistent with age.
