Louis XV Commode In Rosewood Marquetry 18th Century
A three-sided, rosewood marquetry commode with a curved front, featuring three drawers, rich bronze ornamentation, drawer pulls, moldings, keyhole escutcheons, and scalloped corner mounts with faun heads and symbols of the sciences on the sides. The commode is topped with a thick, molded, and shaped red Languedoc marble slab. This Louis XV commode dates from the 18th century. It is in excellent condition, with a French polish finish.
