Magnificent Biedermeier style half-moon console table in cherry and birch burl, from Franconia, circa 1830.
Solid and veneered cherry wood. Semi-circular (half-moon) top veneered in birch burl with a star pattern. Apron with inlaid edges and decorative ebony motifs. Three strongly curved, square-section legs. Lower shelf in cherry with a birch burl border. Good condition, well-maintained, restored at some point in the past.
