Small Chest Of Drawers From The 18th Century
An elegant small 18th-century chest of drawers in solid walnut and cherry wood. The front uprights feature rounded projections with Louis XVI-style cantilevers. The feet are shaped like deer hooves, reminiscent of the Louis XV style. This chest of drawers was therefore made during the reign of Louis XVI, with influences from the Louis XV style. The drawer interiors are made of solid oak and are glazed. The keyhole escutcheons and handles are made of stamped bronze. The beeswax patina is warm and nuanced. W 89 cm D 58 cm H 79 cm.
