Pair of solid mahogany officer's armchairs in the Empire style, inspired by Egyptian Revival. They rest on four legs: two saber-shaped legs at the rear and two claw-shaped legs at the front. The armrest supports are in the form of sphinxes. The armchairs are upholstered in velvet. Late 19th century.
