Pastel on heavy paper, mounted on a backing, indistinctly signed lower right, I believe "Guillaume" (see close-up photos). Measuring 65cm x 50cm excluding the original frame, 78cm x 63cm overall.
Depicting the artist's self-portrait, painted around 1890.
This paper, well stretched on its original stretcher, shows some minor imperfections visible in the close-up photos.
The pastel, never cleaned and not soiled, is in good original condition.
In its original 1890 frame, the glass of which has been broken; sold without glass.
Authentic attic find in original condition.
