Columbus Terrestrial globe, around 1930.

Columbus Verlag, originally located in Berlin-Lichterfelde, is one of the oldest and renowned producers of globes in the world.
Founded in 1909 by Paul Oestergaard, the company linked its name to the production of high quality globes for much of the 20th century.


The globe is made of pressed cardboard covered with a layer of paper segments.
Solid wood base.
Working compass.

Excellent condition, beautiful patina.
Dimensions: globe diameter 33 cm, height 66 cm.
