André Thomas was a French painter born in 1890.
He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Indépendants from 1920 onwards, and at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Tuileries.

Condition:
good overall condition, but note a vertical restoration running from top to bottom of the painting, starting from the middle of the large tree. The restoration is only visible in raking light, from the side (see last photos).
Another restoration is visible in the sky to the left of the tree.
