Empire Flat Desk
Empire style mahogany desk, dating from the 1950s. A simple and classic design, with column legs encircled by bronze rings. The original green leather top is decorated with gilt fleur-de-lis. Three drawers in the front, each with its original palmette keys. The locks are functional. A center-of-the-line piece, also presentable from the back. Good overall condition, with the usual signs of wear on the leather and two small areas of missing veneer (see photos). Height under drawer: 59.5 cm
