Set Of 6 Vintage Murano/empoli Twisted Blown Glass Wine Glasses
An elegant set of six wine or water glasses in very fine, colorless, mouth-blown glass or crystal, with a few rare bubbles. Delicate twisted bodies with ringed stems and bell-shaped bases. Vintage, mid-20th century, 1950s-60s. The fineness of the glass and the overall lightness produce a clear, crystal-like ring. Venetian/Italian Murano or Empoli manufacture, similar to contemporary production by Nasson, possibly an earlier model from this glassmaker. 13.5 cm high with an 8 cm diameter at the rim. Very good overall condition. No cracks or chips. There is a small open bubble on the underside of the bowl of one glass, and a slight irregularity on another, possibly a small chip or manufacturing flaw. Approximately 150-200 grams each.
