A cup resting on a silver stand and saucer, engraved with stylized friezes of vines and acanthus leaves. The tall handle features a foliate scroll in cast and chased silver. An inscription is engraved within the escutcheons located respectively on the body of the cup and on the base of the saucer. 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmarks. Silversmiths: Vaneste & Delettrez, late 19th century. Dimensions: Cup — maximum height: 6 cm; maximum diameter: 7 cm. Saucer — diameter: 13.8 cm. Total weight: 203 g. Condition: very good.
