A Porcelain Plate With Antique-style Decoration, Dating From The Late 19th .
A porcelain plate with antique-style decoration, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The decoration consists of a continuous Greek key border, combined with stylized vegetal garlands, characteristic of the Neoclassical decorative vocabulary. The center features a green medallion with a figurative scene inspired by antiquity, depicting an allegory with draped figures. Its style, palette, and composition suggest a likely English origin, without formal attribution to a specific manufacturer. On the reverse, there are later modern marker inscriptions, partially obscuring an underglaze motif that may correspond to a manufacturer's mark, now difficult to decipher. A fine decorative plate, suitable for wall display or a collection of European porcelain from the Neoclassical period. Signs of wear and age-related marks. Modern inscriptions visible on the reverse. Diameter: 24 cm.
