Grand Tour Fan Rome Basilica Of Maxentius XVIII Century
Ivory fan (CITES) of the Grand Tour type, with a parchment page painted with a central reserve depicting the Basilica of Maxentius in the Roman Forum area, in an unusual mauve colored frame. To the left and right are two further reserves with views of the Temple of the Dioscuri and the Temple of Vespasian and Titus.
All around are decorations of volutes and fruit trophies.
Thesticks are perforated with romantic scenes and are in perfect condition except for a minor loss on the left, visible in the photo.
