The richly carved apron features a refined decoration of foliate scrolls, florets, and pearls, typical of the Louis XVI ornamental repertoire. The four legs are joined by a delicately curved X-shaped stretcher, centered by an elegant carved Medici vase, bringing balance and refinement to the whole. The top is made of molded Arabescato white marble with beautiful natural gray veins, which harmoniously highlights the gilding of the structure.
