Oak Console 18th Century Era
Console Regency period in oak, this bearing three-legged table supports a marble top des Flandres well mouluré.Très decorative with beautiful proportions and this piece represents a dynamic time, nervous and rich sculpture. It is inspired by the decoration of Versailles under LXIV. It is during this period that the curves of the furniture which was previously very strict with straight lines. Parisian making this console was to be originally gilded, it remains to be two small restaurtions on marble. Epoque 18th century.
