Corinthian Order Capital In Sculpted White Marble, 19th Century
A beautiful neoclassical-style capital in white marble, sculpted on three sides with acanthus leaves, scrolls, and friezes, a decoration representative of the Corinthian order. A highly decorative piece in excellent condition, retaining a beautiful antique patina. The decoration is dynamic, with the use of a drill bit in the background. Ideal for displaying a statue or pedestaling an antique bust, either facing inward or outward. It also makes a fine standalone decorative object in a more contemporary setting, serving as a beautiful element of antique architecture. A 19th-century work. Weight approximately 10 kg. Note: Shipping within France is possible in appropriate packaging via Colissimo with tracking and signature confirmation: €50. Other destinations upon request.
