Original print (NO COPY) from expeditions of 1889, 1890, or 1896 to the Caucasus by the renowned Italian photographer Vittorio Sella Biella (1859–1943). Vintage silver gelatin print mounted on paper, numbered 659, signed: blind stamp lower right, captioned on the back in pencil. Superb condition. Minor creases at the corners; also note traces of foxing and soiling in the sky. The edges are slightly curved (see photos).
