Original print (NO COPY) from expeditions of 1889, 1890, or 1896 to the Caucasus by the renowned Italian photographer Vittorio Sella Biella (1859–1943). Vintage silver gelatin print mounted on paper, numbered 560, signed: blind stamp in the lower right corner, captioned on the back in pencil, also captioned on the photograph in pencil (can be easily erased). Condition: slightly darkened, minor foxing, small tears and losses along the edges; the edges are slightly curled (see photos). These minor imperfections are taken into account in the price; the photograph is nonetheless in superb condition.
