Lalique, Hesperides Model Bowl, 20th Century
Circular, partially frosted molded glass bowl with an octagonal basin, decorated around the rim with foliage in low relief. The Hesperides model was created in 1931 by René Lalique (1860-1945). It appears in the 1932 catalog and the 1937 price list, but was not produced after 1947.
Signed “Lalique France” on the reverse, indicating that this piece was made after René Lalique's death.
Minor scratches from use.
