Artist: Marius-ernest Sabino
A rare pair of opalescent vases with thirty-two cabochons, dating from the Art Deco period around 1925-1929, by the master glassmaker Marius-Ernest Sabino. These pieces are made of thick, pressed molded glass with a highly geometric design of stylized leaves and thirty-two cabochons arranged at regular intervals and in high relief . The opalescence is beautiful, allowing for different diffusions of light depending on its source and intensity. These vases are listed in the Sabino catalogue under number 7032. Each piece is signed on the inside base "Sabino FRANCE".
