18th Century Moulins Earthenware Plate
We are selling this rather rare 18th-century Moulins faience plate. The center depicts a musician playing a wind instrument. On the back are two labels: one states that this plate was sold as being from Lyon for 2500 francs (equivalent to 380 euros today), and another label reads "Moulins 18th century, very rare, bugle player." To me, the instrument looks more like a snake; if I'm mistaken, please forgive me. In any case, this plate is superb, rare, and in absolutely flawless condition. Weight: 462 grams. Shipping extra (€26). Ref: TB 314
