Pair Of Covered Apothecary Jars
We are offering for sale this pair of spectacular covered apothecary jars. They date from the 18th century, the maker of which is yet to be determined. They are not perfectly identical in design: the one marked ROSATUM has a blue handle, while the other, marked POPULEOM, has a white handle. These pieces were handmade, so some slight differences are to be expected. They are in excellent condition, but one (the one marked POPULEOM) has been restored by a talented conservator, and the lid of the other (ROSATUM) has also been restored. This slightly reduces their value, but we have priced it accordingly. Weight of both: 3.3 kg. Shipping extra (€26).
