Tric Trac Games Table, Restoration Period
A mahogany and mahogany burl veneer backgammon table. It features two opposing drawers and rests on four "Jacob" legs ending in gilt bronze casters. The removable top is covered in gilt leather on one side and felt on the other. Two compartments for the backgammon game are revealed, inlaid with ivory on an ebony veneer background. Circa 1815.
