A carved and gilded wooden pediment decorated with a basket of flowers between two symmetrical acanthus leaf scrolls and surmounted by a palmette. A bracket approximately 3 cm long, visible in the photographs, secures the mirror to the pediment. The gilding is original, using gold leaf, but shows some minor damage.
