Indonesian Naval Cannon Known As "lantaka"

This naval cannon originates from Southeast Asia, specifically the Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines region. It can be dated to the 19th century.
These cannons, called "lantakas," equipped merchant ships to provide protection against pirates. Of course, pirate ships also used the same type of cannon. In fact, in Indonesia, these shipboard cannons were considered as essential as sails!
The cannon itself is made of bronze. It features a beautiful floral and plant decoration. The muzzle is flower-shaped, as is the rear section.
The rear sight consists of a notch at the touchhole for firing, as well as a raised dot protruding from a flower a few centimeters away.
The front sight is in the shape of a stylized animal.
The cannon barrel rests on a stanchion that allows for vertical and lateral adjustment by pivoting.
The display stand is made of resin; I generally don't recommend sending it with the cannon as it increases the package weight… However, it is still possible.
The cannon weighs 10 kg without the stand.
Upon examining the inside of the barrel, I found a metal rod, probably made of iron, stuck inside, ending 6 or 7 cm from the muzzle. Consequently, firing this cannon is impossible. I mention this because some collectors enjoy firing antique cannons. I have no idea why this rod is there, nor how to remove it… I obviously didn't examine the inside of the barrel when I purchased it…
