Louis XVI Style Mahogany Bedside Table/chest Of Drawers
A small Louis XVI style chest of drawers, suitable as a console or bedside table, in mahogany and mahogany veneer, dating from the mid-20th century. It features two dovetailed drawers. The four tapered legs are joined by a shelf. The top is of veined white marble; note a small, barely visible crack at the corner of the marble (see photo), bordered by an openwork bronze gallery.
