Watercolor By Edmond Heuzé. 20th Nude Of A Woman On Paper
Artist: Edmond Heuzé
Edmond Heuzé (1883-1967) was a French painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. He exhibited notably at the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon d'Automne. The artist is best known for his circus, theater, and music hall scenes, subjects that occupy a significant place in his work. Alongside these themes, Heuzé also produced studies of figures and nudes, generally executed on paper. These works attest to his observational skills and his drawing practice. Representations of nudes are less frequent than his scenes of entertainment and constitute a more intimate aspect of his work. This work on paper is characteristic of the artist's graphic style.
