Rare Model 1822 Line Cavalry or Heavy Cavalry Officer's Sabre, known as "Le Bancal" (The Leaning One).
It was used primarily by cuirassiers, but also by carabiniers, dragoons, and lancers.
Manufactured by the Klingerthal Manufactory in 1829.

Some dents in the scabbard, but otherwise in good overall condition.
