Lombard Copper Pourer. (569-774 Apr J.-c.)
Lombard copper pourer with a spherical central body, enriched by three concentric engravings. Conical base with an incision and a shaped, widened mouth to facilitate the pouring of liquids. Provenance: Collection of the Federico II Museum and the Middle Ages in Palermo. Documented object, of which a similar one was exhibited in Naples during the exhibition 'Longobards, a people who changed history'. The pourer has lost its handle, which was originally a simple, upturned pear-shaped plate. (569-774 Apr J.-C.)
