Dress or Coat Late 19th – early 20th century

Antique dress long blue cotton stage dress, datable from the late 19th century – early 20th century, richly decorated with iridescent blue sequins offering a luminous effect under the stage lighting.
The dress is adorned with multicolored glass stones, sewn by hand, as well as golden threads and braids highlighting the collar, front and flared sleeves, characteristic of theater and opera costumes of this period. Blue cotton interior.
The front is structured by a pink cotton yoke, decorated with polychrome glass stones and stripes.

Note: presence of wear and fragility of use on pink cotton, consistent with the age of the room and its scenic use (see photos).
