Ceramic – Pair Of Herons

Pair of stylized wading birds in glazed earthenware depicting two herons, each standing on a base shaped as a rock. One is finished in white crackle glaze set on a base with deep blue tones, the other in a glossy green glaze with a darker textured base.

The work shows a naturalistic stylization and polychrome decoration typical of mid-20th century decorative ceramics, with an Asian influence.
