Pair Of Candelabra -bronze - Houbedine Bronze Cast - France - 19th Century
Pair of bronze candelabra by Houdebine, bronzesmith in Paris. An elegant pair of finely chased bronze candelabra, Parisian work signed Houdebine, bronzesmith in Paris, whose plaque is present under the base. Each candelabra features four lights arranged around a central shaft richly decorated with vegetal and floral motifs, with a particularly refined naturalistic style. The center is adorned with a stylized bouquet from which emerge foliage and flowers, typical of the decorative taste of the late 19th century. The sinuous arms terminate in delicately sculpted candle cups, while the top is crowned with a decorative flame-shaped finial. The circular bases, broadly molded and decorated with friezes, ensure excellent stability and enhance the overall elegance. The exquisite chasing perfectly highlights the relief of the decoration. High-quality French craftsmanship attributable to the Parisian production of decorative bronzes from the late 19th century, the Napoleon III period / early Belle Époque. These highly decorative candelabras can be displayed on a console table, mantelpiece, or large table, adding a prestigious touch to any classic interior.
