St. Empire Desk With Caryatids
A mahogany Empire-style desk with caryatid motifs. Double-sided, it opens to reveal four drawers, the top covered in dark green leather with braid trim, and two side pull-out slides. The legs are tapered with caryatids, ending in sabots. Oak lining. Four keys. Original leather with a nuanced patina. Late 19th/early 20th century. Very good condition.
