Pair Of Art Nouveau Earthenware Cachepots, Saint-clément Factory, Circa 1900
A charming pair of Art Nouveau majolica cachepots from the French manufacturer Saint-Clément, circa 1900. The high-relief decoration depicts stylized water lilies, typical of the naturalist taste of the period: yellow and white petals, slender stems, and flowing foliage, all rendered in a soft palette of seafoam greens, turquoise, and touches of pink at the neck. The slightly flared silhouette, punctuated by vertical ribs, highlights the richness of the decoration and gives these pieces a highly sculptural presence. Both cachepots are in excellent condition and have a beautiful glaze sheen. Dimensions: H 18 cm – Ø 26.5 cm
