Complete ceramic dinner service by Procéram in Aubagne. Entirely hand-painted in 1962. In perfect condition, suggesting that this service has probably never been used. On an ivory earthenware base, you will see fish such as sea bream, John Dory, red mullet, gurnard, mackerel, and scorpionfish, the latter with its name engraved on the back. There are also crustaceans like lobster, spiny lobster, velvet crab, and sea urchin, as well as mussels and a bouquet garni. It comprises twelve plates, each with a different fish design. A sauce boat and a large oval platter decorated with crustaceans complete the set. Dinner plates: 24.5 cm. Platter: 60 x 24 cm. Sauce boat: 13 cm (base 18 cm). All the fish and crustaceans are in relief, and the hand-painted colors are bright and vibrant, making this a truly exceptional service. exceptional. It should be noted that this former flagship of Aubagne ceramics was created in 1908 under the name "Société des Faïenceries d'Aubagne" (SFA). Briefly renamed Faïencerie Nouvelle de Provence between 1929 and 1938, it will go down in history as Procéram from 1939 and will cease its activity in 1977.
