Designer Table Lamp In Burr Walnut And Black Lacquer – Italy, Circa 1960-1970
An elegant table lamp with a geometric design inspired by the Art Deco aesthetic, produced in Italy circa 1960–1970.
The structure is composed of superimposed architectural volumes combining walnut burl veneer with pronounced bird’s-eye figuring and glossy black lacquer. Fine horizontal light-wood inlays emphasize the composition and create a refined chromatic contrast.
The cubic body rests on a subtly overhanging plinth, reinforcing the architectural balance of the piece. The central stem is in gilt metal / brass.
The trapezoidal lampshade, upholstered in dark brown fabric, harmonizes beautifully with the warm tones of the walnut.
A decorative Italian work from the second half of the 20th century, reflecting the spirit of the Art Deco revival.
Condition: Good overall condition. The glossy finish is well preserved. The lampshade is intact. In working order.
