Jean-baptiste Desvignes - Opaline Perfume Bottle
A pom-pom-shaped perfume bottle with a soapy opal crystal stopper, decorated with a wreath of anemones painted in gold and dark blue forget-me-nots with foliage, framed by gilt lines, made by the workshop of Jean-Baptiste Desvignes around 1817. In very good condition, a small chip on the stopper, see photos. A similar model is reproduced in the book "Les opalines" by Christine Vincendeau.
