18th-century Ivory Christ
Ivory Christ figure, without the Cross (easily detachable from the wooden plaque to which it is attached by nails). A very beautiful sculpture, finely detailed and delicate, with a lovely patina. Christ's face has an expression of suffering; it was sculpted at the very moment of His death. He has a forked beard and wavy hair. He does not wear the crown of thorns. The loincloth is removable and has a deeper patina than the body. One finger on the right hand is broken (ring finger). Careful worldwide shipping.
